LNG Task Force: Meetings 10 & 11 Report
Two teleconferences of the LNG-Task Force were held on 3rd and 10th July to discuss an important amendment to the package of LNG amendments that has been completed for Regulation 110. There was an oversight on a provision to mandate an automatic valve mounted directly on an LNG tank so that excess fuel release during an accident or when the vehicle is stopped or parked can be avoided. LNG Task Force: Meeting 9 Report
The LNG Task Force met during the morning of 15th April 2013 at the United Nations for what was hoped to be the last formal meeting of the group, coming in advance of the full Group of Experts on General Safety that would consider the proposed Amendments for LNG vehicles to the Regulation 110. In particular, a set of question posed by the delegation from France about the amendments was addressed point-by-point in order to limit the number of questions that might arise at the GRSG (General Safety Provisions) during the debate of the amendments package.
LNG Task Force: Meeting 8
An interactive teleconference (voice and visuals) was held between participating LNG TF stakeholders two days prior to the required submittal of a Formal Document to the Group of Experts on General Safety (GRSG). The purpose of the teleconference was to review changes to the entire set of LNG amendments to prepare a final draft of the LNG amendments to Regulation 110. (more…)
